The Gem Community Arts Centre is proudly the home of Gemco Players Community Theatre Inc.

Gemco Players has been operating in the Dandenong Ranges for over 25 years. Throughout its history it has provided the local community with a full range of arts focused events and given countless people the opportunity to take part in every facet of entertain-ment, from singing workshops to poetry readings to plays, musicals and gallery exhibitions.

The company also boasts a strong youth theatre group which has provided over 1000 young people with a creative, supportive network.

Their efforts are tireless and are based on the principle that everyone deserves a chance. It’s through their dedication that The Gem Community Arts Centre has been a dream realised for so many of the local population.
